After engaging in research and development for an electronics manufacturer and working at a patent office (primarily applications, prosecution, and appraisal of electronic technology), founded Nakajima International Patent Office in 1983, which later became Nakajima & Associates IP Firm. Involved in patent applications and prosecution in fields such as digital communications, cryptographic communications, communication protocols, computer architecture, information processing, electronic devices, lighting technologies, and batteries.

Engaged by a home electronics manufacturer for design and maintenance of embedded programs. Joined Nakajima International Patent Office in 1993. Mainly responsible for patent applications and prosecution related to DVD, SD, BD data structures, compilation technology such as optimization and resource allocation, computer hardware, image processing, and image recognition. Qualified as a Telecommunications Chief Engineer (transmission and switching) in 2008.

Engaged in acquiring domestic and international patent rights, licensing, litigation, contracts, appraisal and management of intellectual properties in display and healthcare fields in the intellectual property department. Joined Nakajima & Associates IP Firm in 2012, and mainly involved in patent applications and prosecution related to display devices medical imaging diagnostic equipment, and lighting. Became a partner in 2016.
